TV with converter

 

 

 

TV must be on channel 3.
Plug TV into converter.
Select channels through converter. 
 

 

TV with converter and VCR

 

Converter must always be on before VCR.
To record, VCR must be on channel 3 and converter must be on the channel to be recorded.
TV remains on channel 3.
To play VCR: insert tape, push play, and set TV to channel 3. 
 

 

TV with converter, VCR, and video game insertion device

 

  Converter must always be before VCR and game device.
To play game turn TV on and to channel 3.
TV remains on channel 3.
To play VCR: insert tape, push play, and set TV to channel 3.

 

 

TV with converter, VCR, and A/B splitter

 

  This installation requires the use of the 75 ohm cable that came with your VCR.

VCR must be tuned to Channel 3.

To view television and not record:

Set A/B switch to "A" position.
Set television to channel 3.
Select channel to view with converter.
To record one channel and watch another channel between 2 and 13:

Select channel to be recorded on the converter.
VCR must be set to channel 3.
Follow instructions that came with your VCR.
Set A/B switch to the "B" position.
Use TV tuner to select the channel to view.
To view a recorded tape:

Set A/B switch to the "A" position.
Follow instructions that came with your VCR.

Connecting a cable modem to a computer

1.       Connect one end of the coax cable to the cable outlet, and the other end to the back of your modem.

 

2.       Connect the power adapter to the back of the modem, and plug the other end into the wall outlet.

 

3.       Connect your PC by plugging the Ethernet cable into the back of the modem, and then plug the other end into the network card in your PC.

*Only use an Ethernet or USB Cable; not both. For more information on connecting using USB, please reference the modem’s driver disc.
