  • Approximately 3 million women in the United States are living with breast cancer: 2 million have been diagnosed and an estimated 1 million do not know they even have the disease.
  • In the United States, 1 out of 7 women will develop breast cancer in her life - a risk that was 1 in 11 in 1975.
  • In 2007, an estimated 178,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among women in the United States.

   FREE BREAST CANCER SCREENINGS -  Find the one nearest you!  Provided by the Komen Breast Cancer "Make a Difference" Program .

  MAMMOGRAMS -  Early detection is the key that could save lives! The Women's Imaging Center offers mammograms in a relaxed and comfortable setting at Robinwood Medical Center. 

   FREE BREAST CANCER HANDBOOK - Free wigs, workshops on breast health, support groups and more,   Breast Cancer Awareness of Cumberland Valley offers a variety of resources for those dealing with breast cancer. Through communication, no one has to face breast cancer alone!
