Approximately 3 million women in the United States are living with breast cancer:
2 million have been diagnosed and an estimated 1 million do not know they even have
the disease.

In the United States, 1 out of 7
women will develop breast cancer in her life - a risk that was 1 in 11 in
1975.

In 2007, an estimated 178,480 new cases of
invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among women in the United
States.
